We foodies are all explorers – culinary explorers, that is – but some of us get out and around the world and really take the food exploring thing to heart in a big way. These explorers relish adventure, love new tastes and food experiences, and are willing to go off the beaten track with their cameras to find the best and most authentic foods, ingredients, and cooking techniques. For those who fit that description, you may want to become a Culex Explorer.
Explorers went to Havana, Cuba, to learn about and experience the culinary traditions of this amazing country. The food scene wasn’t as vibrant as the Cuban food scene in Miami, but we found a few gems.
A small group of Explorers are considering taking a trip to San Miguel Allende this fall, to take some cooking classes and to eat, and then eat some more.
